Moffitt and Red Line Oil Win in Dover

Benicia, CA (Vocus) September 28, 2009 -- Red Line Oil-sponsored NASCAR Camping World East driver Brett Moffitt in the Sunoco 150 season finale at the Dover International Speedway in Delaware, where he qualified third and finished in fourth place with an average speed of 152.74mph. The 17 year old, who drives the number 44 Andy Santerre Motorsports Chevrolet, had a banner year in 2009 and is the youngest driver in series history to win an event, sit on the pole and lead the points standing .

Moffitt began his racing career in 2006, starting in 2006 with karts in 2006 where he quickly moved through the ranks and captured four WKA and two IKF championships championships, as well as the WKA "Triple Crown" and the prestigious "Tulsa Shootout." In 2007 Moffitt won 26 feature races and in 2008 he was named Rookie of the Year in the ASA Late Model North Series after transitioning from dirt to asphalt.
